  • 2013 Fall Tryouts - June 1-2
    The tryouts for our Rapids fall teams will be on Saturday June 1 and Sunday June 2 from 3-5pm. All tryouts will be hosted at Upper Kingston Park for Boys and Girls during this time. If you are wanting to play for the Rapids this fall you are expected to attend all tryouts. Should you have a conflict you need to notify our Director of Coaching, Coach Angelo at jktornquist@gmail.com prior to the tryout dates. The tryout fee will be $10 and this will include a t-shirt while supplies last. Please fill out the application and bring with you and the fee on June 1. Coaches and team age groups will be designated once we know the numbers we have for each age. This can only be accomplished with you at tryouts. Trainers and College coaches will run the tryouts and discuss the selection process for each team. Registration form is attached below.

  • 2012 Fall Registration evening
    We will be hosting our fall registration evening for the fall 2012 season on Thursday June 21 at 7pm. the forms are listed on the forms page for you to download and bring to the meeting. Please wait to sign the medical form until that evening in front of our notary.

    Registration will be at the First Baptist Church in the Fellowship Hall. Address is 138 South Washington St. Park in the back and come in the breezeway

  • Fall Tryouts Concluded
    The Rapids have concluded their fall tryouts and have had a record number of players turnout in the clubs history. We are looking to field possibly nine teams this fall in girls and boys teams. There are a few spots available in certain age groups so if you are moving to the area or for some reason were not aware of the tryout dates contact our DOC Coach Townsend at gtownsend@faulkner.edu to ask about a tryout with a team. Thanks to everyone that turned out and we look forward to a great season. Coaches will be in contact with their players by next week. If you do not hear from anyone please contact the DOC and we will make sure you are taken care of.

Spring Academy Program

The Rapids will be running their spring academy training to anyone interested in improving their technical skills. Training will run from April 1 until June for a total of 6 sessions. Coaching provided by Faulkner University Coaches and players from the men's and women's soccer programs. Cost will be $75 for all 6 sessions. Training will be 2-3:30pm Sunday afternoons at Upper Kingston fields. Fill out Registration form and email to gtownsend@faulkner.edu .Spring Academy Rev.doc

Welcome to the Rapids

Our club is dedicated to developing the soccer talent found in the youth of our area and we strive to do it at an affordable price. Although we have stood in front of the championship banner at many levels since the club was formed, we measure our success by the improvement of our players. Our coaching staff has led players to reach higher skill levels in each season. If you have an athlete who desires to improve, we want the opportunity to guide them.


Message from the President

I’d like to personally invite you to join us at River Region Soccer Club. We’re quite simply about improving the soccer skills of the youth of the River Region. We’ve proudly trained youth from Prattville, Millbrook, Montgomery, Auburn, Tallassee, Clanton, Troy, Wetumpka, Marbury, and many areas in between.
 
We’ve recently joined with the City of Prattville to offer the area soccer teams that will be fulfilling to the recreational, developmental and competitive players needs. I encourage you to contact me or the other members listed on our Contact Us page to find out what we have to offer.
